Pity the poor celebrities, wandering through the morass of the intarwebs without benefit of qualified tech support. Pity, in particular, poor Courtney Love.

Yes, the very rich are different from you and me. They are more heavily medicated.

It seems poor Courtney seeks validation, in particular Twitter validation; this will come as no surprise to anyone who’s been Following her plaintive ululations from the turgid depths of her soiled and torn soul. To whom can she turn when her husband shot himself (as Esquire once remarked, if she was your wife, wouldn’t you?) and her daughter has a restraining order against her?

To you, my friend. To you.

Yes indeed, can anyone out there say truthfully that Courtney Love does not need help? I think not, my friend. I think not. And what did a legion of strangers on the internet do when they heard the poor woman’s cri de coeur?

That’s right: they dicked her around mercilessly.

The moral of the story? (besides Drugs are Bad, Kids!)? When you need competent, honest tech support, Random Internet Stranger Person may not be a good replacement for a savvy use of Google or the contact deets of a reliable geek. Do It Yourself is fine. It’s Doing It Yourself According to the Random Commands of Assertive BS-ing Strangers that gets you into trouble every time.

Just ask the Subservient Chicken.
